Rece has a severe case of "cradle cap". She gave us a prescription for something to put on the really thick patches on his head and a prescription shampoo. She gave us a couple samples of some other shampoos to use as well. The molluscum, we decided to just leave. We could freeze them off, but there are just too many. They can also inject them with a yeast to get the body to start fighting them off, but that may mess with his immune system. The bumps don't seem to bother him and the morning of the appointment, I noticed a couple of them had become red and irritated. This meant his body was fighting them on it's own so I decided not to do anything and just let them run their course. Both boys had the doctors, nurse and myself in tears. One of the chairs in the room made a sort of "farting" noise when you stood up. Jack was sitting in the chair and would have to frequently "stretch". When the chair would "fart" the boys would start giggling so hard, everyone else in the room would start laughing. Boys....
The dentist filled a couple of Rece's cavities and pulled one of his teeth that was barely hanging on. She confirmed my suspicion that we will be seeing an orthodontist within a year. Thank God for our FSA!!!
All is well on our end. Emma celebrated her 10th birthday last weekend. Rece's birthday is coming up on the 9th. Then his "Heart Birthday" on the 20th. It's hard to believe he is going to be 8!
